Eggie Cafe

YOU HAVE TO COME HERE!! This is the cutest little aesthetic Cafe I've ever been to! The decor is very bright, cheerful, adorable, carefully curated which makes for gorgeous photos. The food is -incredible- and made with love and care, you can really tell the chef put careful consideration into his dishes rather than other cafe's who tend to slap it together with lots of potatoes and "filler". They put lots of greens and nutritional veggies with their dishes. The flavors are all natural, no artificial flavors, they have Vegan and Gluten free options, for those out there with restrictions; they have a fridge with ready-made sandwiches and onigiri for quick on-the-go lunches! The story behind how this cafe was opened is such a cute touch because it really FEELS like you're staying with friends who started a passion project. These people deserve all the love in the world

I got the Avocado toast, my friend for the egg sandwich. The cook puts alot of care into the preparation and it shows. Delicious food, generous portions, eggs were perfectly cooked and the avocados were creamy and ripe. Came with preserved fruit and side salad that was crisp, a nice contrast to the main course. We had a strawberry match latte that was very refreshing. Will be back for sure!

OMG. The best breakfast meal with SO much flavour! Large portions, exceptional flavours. Soft jazz music ... Worth the detour to Parksville if you're on your way to Tofino or for a quick lunch before boarding the ferry.

Impressed! The mushroom toast was 10/10. They got my order wrong but we ended up enjoying it. Edit: We placed another order and they gave us a small treat which was unexpected and really yummy. Amazing service! Can’t wait to revisit next time we are in the area.

Lovely cafe! Got a sandwich, a pastry and a drink. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the herb&cheese scone, the dash of dill was a great touch! Lots of other unique pastries that i will be trying to next. I brought the Cubanini sandwich home, and without exaggeration - it was the best sandwich I've had in my whole life. An extremely generous portion of pork, a dash of dijon, and oh my god the milk bread... I'll be thinking about it for a while. The place was neatly decorated, had a chill playlist and an overall pleasant vibe! Great place for a lunch.

This place is incredible! We stop there every time we drive by Parksville, our son loves the treats and the Korean lemonade, and they have a matcha to die for. If you ever consider going to a place where the love for food and service is essential, Eggie is definitely what you’re looking for.

The mushroom toast was fantastic. We enjoyed it so much that we came back a few days later for it again. The flavours this place turns out are unique and lovely. They make their own delicious bread. We will return here again and again each time we are in town.

Definitely Going Again! It took us a lot longer to get our food because one of their induction tops was not working in the kitchen. So we ordered a couple pastries and coffees to pass the time and it was well worth it! Sometimes on island time you just wait a little longer but the results pay off. We sat outside on a sunny day with the ocean breeze and our dogs at our feet. Couple of tips: While they give us a number you need to come to the counter to pick up your drinks and your food. It could be that if you sat inside you would hear them call your number but they don't have table service. Totally fine by me. Inside of the restaurant is cheerful and the People working there seemed to demonstrate that they care about what they do. Food: The avocado toast was amazing as was the eggs Benedict with ham. The mushroom and egg toast was also delicious. Eggs Benedict are made on high quality English muffins. Similarly the bread for the avocado toast was high quality and seemed homemade. All came with a very tasty salad. For drinks we had a cortado, Macha latte, and a caramel macchiato and a flat white. Each of these were prepared and presented professionally. If you have dogs and the weather is nice the seating outdoors is great. We had at least a 45 minute wait for food but understood it would take longer when we ordered. All four of us agreed that considering the wait, everything about our experience made this a five-star and a definite place to return. I think it was smart that we shared a scone and a cookie to get over the hangry while we waited for food. If you're with anxious kids and are looking for fast food there's a Wendy's down the road. If you're looking to enjoy a high quality meal that surpasses home made, this is the place!
